All 3 courses can be taken one after the other or you can do just one or two of them. The courses take place at Toxteth TV – a new purpose built Media centre with small companies and a TV studio in addition to the classroom spaces. As well as learning the specialist skills, you will also be working to improve your English and Maths skills as part of the course.

Successful completion of one or more of these courses can lead to BTEC 1st Diplomas in Media, Multimedia, Music Technology, Art and Design and Photography or a range of Media and Art based National Diplomas.

Apart from being keen to do the course you will need to have a Level 1 qualification or 5 GCSEs grade D-G or equivalent. You will need to be able to use English and Maths with sufficient confidence for the course. We will ask you to do an assessment in English and Maths to help decide whether this is the right course for you.
